Just a quick note to my fellow .Apps...
TRON 2.0 (v. 1.4.2. retail) is not working under the latest Mac OS. I installed 10.5 last night and was running thru my programs to catch broken apps and TRON was one of them. :-(
I sent MacPlay an e-mail last night describing my problem. I'm sure it's a simple matter of recompiling the TRON 2.0 for OS 10.5.

Have you tried recompiling tron 2.0 under 10.5? I know OXS 10.X are similar to the unix/Linux Varient OS in some ways.

VROOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!
To compute or not to compute that is the question at hand. Tis nobler to compile in C++ or in TASM.

Shelf-life ain't what it used to be, eh? ;-)
IMHO, if you refuse to update a program, you should release it to the Open Source community*. There may not be any money left to be made but there are fans/game players who still like to play their fav games.

* Altho with a licensed property like TRON, Open Source probably isn't an option.

Any messages in the Console when the app is launched? Also, any crash logs? Look in /Library/Logs and ~/Library/Logs. You can email them directly to me if you want.abortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion

Thanks for the console spew. If anyone else gets anything different or can find any CrashReporter logs, please post them. I filed a bug with this info and will append anything new to it.

Howdy there, new guy here. Did anyone ever get anywhere with this problem? I'm running 10.5 and can't get Tron2.0 to run. It 'unexpectedly' crashes on startup.

Actually, there are a couple of open-source games with Tron in them. Namely, GLTron and Armagetron Advanced.

GLTron is cool. I've made several skins for it, my best being a Hunt the Wumpus one. Very cool. I'll have to get some screenies, hehe.order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pill

Mine is a sad story...
Due to unfortunate circumstances, I owned a Mac G3 PowerPC as my primary computer for almost ten years. Couldn't afford a new one; completely missed OS9 and all of the OSX line...
Finally, I scraped up enough cash to buy a new iMac, and am running 10.5. The very first piece of software I purchased is one I was very sad to have missed on first release, TRON2.0. Was insufferably pleased with the price for a new/sealed copy on Amazon of only $10. Yay!
You know the rest. I tried the 10.4 install patch, but all for naught. Can't run the thing. In reading what you nice folks have written, it seems that the likelihood of an update is pretty slim. Oh well, the box'll look pretty on my self, at least. Please let me know if the situation ever changes or who to contact at whatever MacPlay is called nowadays...
