The programs here should get a kick out of this:
Why do computer programmers confuse Hallowe'en and Christmas?
Because oct31=dec25! 
Here's another joke in the same vein (so it's kind of a clue as to the first joke) which I'm sure many of you have seen:
There are 10 types of people in the world: Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

Cool!
I passed it along to my coworkers (mainframe/SQL programmers) this morning and so far only one has e-mailed me back indicating that she 'got' it.

Same here. I had to explain it to three other people. I guess Octal isn't used much anymore? *shrugs*

I get it. I even checked the math as it seemed a little too convenient but it all checked out.

Used this when I was teaching Binary lol. I had them going for about 10 mins until they understood it.
