Sandworms of Dune

Okay even though I've only read up to "Children of Dune" I've just bought the new Dune novel "Sandworms of Dune". This book apparently finishes off the story the final chapter that follows on from Frank Herberts last book "ChapterHouse Dune" which apparently ends on a massive cliffhanger. People have waited over 20 years to find out what happenes in the story.

Unlike the other newer Dune books written by Frank Herberts son Brian Herbert. Hunters of Dune and Sandworms of Dune were almost written when Frank Herbert Died. The plot was outlined and a very large manuscript outlining each chapter was already written for both books. So Brian worked directly from that so hopefully they should resemble the original novels alot more in the way that they are written than the newer ones. If you are a Fan of the original series of the Dune books but hate the newer ones (which I know some people do) I would still get these two because after all they end the story.

I made it up to Heretics of Dune and just couldn't get into that book. Of course, at the time, I had powered through the first four, so maybe I was burnt out.

I tried the newer one "Butlerian Jihad" and it was AWFUL. Just plain terrible. If I ever get around to fully finishing the series I may take your advice.

You know, I keep trying to finish that series.

I got up to "God Emperor" and then the one after that, I couldn't manage to get myself through.

And then I started trying to read the prequels (out of order) with House Harkhonen.

Which was okay.

But House Atreties bored me, so I ended up falling out with it again.

I'll force myself through that whole lot of books...eventually.abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

I hear alot of mixed reviews about the newer Dune novels. I am about to start "God Emperor of Dune" and each one has been better than the last so far. But as for the new ones I am going to keep in mind a few things. Firstly this is a different writer so I will try not to compaire it too closely to the originals. I think thats a mistake alot of people make when reading the new ones. Same universe yeah but different writer with his own style. People who have took the approach that I am going to take seem to enjoy them.

I did hear that House Atreides is quite boring so I am not looking forward to that one. I am told that you do not HAVE to read the prequals to read Hunders and Sandworms of Dune. But it does help clear a few things up that happen in Sandworms, if you have read the prequals.

I am trying to to power my way through them I dont want to get bored with them hence why I stopped at the end of Children of Dune to read something else.

You'll be impressed. "God Emperor of Dune" was clearly (to me) the best of the bunch... having to do with a matured subject matter and a need to advance the story. This is my favorite of the whole series.

Personally, I really enjoyed the Prequels (House Atreides, House Harkonnen and House Corrino) as I found it interesting to see how the set-ups for the original book came to be.

I also truly enjoyed the Serena Butler trilogy (The Butlerian Jihad, The Machine Crusade and The Battle of Corrin) as it was fascinating to me to see how folding space came about as well as the events that led to the terrible riff between the Atreides and Harkonnens. I found those events to be quite heartbreaking, myself.

I just really, REALLY dug those books. Not nearly as much as the original Dune or Dune Messiah, but I did enjoy them.

House Atreides is the slowest book of that trilogy as is The Butlerian Jihad to its series. They have a ton of setup that the following two books in each series really run with.

I know they aren't for everyone, but I can tell you that I personally enjoyed them!abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion
