Okay, so i got my friends on my C64 and taught them to prog in basic, the result :
look closely and it says "why hello thar tron sector"

Could you teach me? I don't know nothing about programming. I have a manual! But I'm still confused.

okee dokes, lets see here...the program is just
10 ?"message"
20 ?"messag e"
30 ?"messa g e"
40?"mess a g e"
etc etc...
the 1,2,3,4 denotes that it is a multiple line program. The "?" is another way to say PRINT, which just spits out whatever you type. And the message is in quotations just so that the computer knows that that is a part of print and not a separate command. BASIC is pretty...basic. 'Nuff said.

It's a very old PC...one of the first ever. It came out around the same time as TRON.
Some of the best old school PC games came out on the C64 as well as some of the best old school videogame music ever...some of it even better than Nintendo's music.
Get VICE (Google it) and emulate some games.
