If it's polyphonic ringtones you're after (and your phone doesn't have Bluetooth or whatever to upload midi files to your phone, otherwise you're better off doing it that way), I have a program on my PC called Polyphonic Wizard (cost me about £12) which allows you to upload ringtones (and images, too), to your phone via the phone's WAP connection.
If you have a short midi file (less than 30 seconds is usually good for a ring tone) that's fairly small (not too many instruments), I don't mind if you arrange with me a time to meet up in the Live Chat for me to upload the midi file to the TAPWAP server and give you the URL to download it on your phone (the URL is only active for 20 minutes, hence the need to meet up on Live Chat).
Of course, your phone needs to have WAP capability, but you're connected to it for so little time that, as far as I know, it doesn't charge you anything (I'm not certain of this, but I don't think I've ever been charged anything for connecting to the WAP server/downloading a ringtone).
So long as the program supports your phone (and it's got a hyoooooge list of phones), it should work. I've used it loads before, even for a couple of Tron themes
