There is a TRON font available for Windows here:

It is very close to the actual TRON font in the film.

Have you done any poking around on any Mac forums? If there is a Mac TRON font out there, I'd love to make it available here in the file archives if possible.
I can't remember if I've ever heard of a TRON font for Mac. I wonder if there is a PC to Mac font conversion utility out there or something.

TrueType was developed by Apple as a competitor to Adobe Type 1 fonts, and MS added it to Windows 3.1. OpenType was later developed by MS and Adobe as a followup to TrueType, and we folded that back into the Mac.
