Lord Of The Rings Online

on Tuesday, April, 10, 2007 1:32 AM

Well, I did what I said I would never do and finally started playing a MMORPG. Sure enough... it took me all of 15 minutes to become addicted.

It's still free for two weeks, for anyone who wants to check it out:
Lord Of The Rings Online

I, of course, made myself a Hobbit. It's like most quest-like RPG games. I imagine it starts to get fun once you join fellowships, but I am still in the novice stage.

If you pre-order now you get to keep your character when it goes live

Should I plan on seeing anyone from the game grid rez in on the Shire?

Which is exactly why I'll probably never play one. It was hard enough just pulling myself away from online light cycles back when more people played - I'm sure I'd get stuck in these never-ending virtual experiences for long periods of time. And unfortunately, time is not something I have much of these days.

I'd LOVE to experience something like this, but I know I had better steer clear. Of course, my aging and slow computer helps a lot. It simply won't run most modern games - it's like everyone is playing on an Xbox360 or PS3 and all I've got is a 2600.

Good luck in your adventures! Live long and may your foot fur grow thick and warm. Hobbits do pride themselves on their foot fur, don't they? Or is that a false childhood memory?

The only MMORPG (or muh-morpk, which is the 'in' way to say it) I'd be interested in would be Shenmue Online, 'cos Shenmue is awesome sauce. Word. (I'm so hip I surprise myself with my radness).

So long as I don't have to pay a monthly subscription. I couldn't afford it and there's no way that dad would pay a penny towards a game. order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill
