Jademz mentioned that last week on G4TV, they briefly mentioned the film and the game on Attack of the Show. And that G4 is also running a commercial that is Tron "inspired", where a woman is dressed up in a Tron-like suit.
Has anybody seen this commercial yet? Is anyone able to capture it and post it online?
I'm not sure if G4TV Canada will show the commercial, but I'll keep an eye out for it and try to capture it myself if it shows up. (To be honest, I can't stand G4 and never watch it . . . the only good thing on is Leo Laporte's Call for Help, which I don't think is aired on the U.S. version of the channel.)

I saw that commercial last week. The wife and I were watching DS9 (we regularly record Star Trek shows and watch them later 'caus we both enjoy) and that commercial came on before I could hit my FAVORITE button on my DVR remote - the FAST FORWARD BUTTON! 
I had to watch the whole commercial and loved it for their obvious homage to TRON and all things nerdy.
It featured a nerdy guy flying around on a TRON-like woman... who seemed a bit on the large side (or maybe he was really short) - large as in much taller than he, NOT as in fat. She was a hottie and her glowing suit was definitely inspired by TRON.
I wish I had thought of recording that commercial before dumping the show.
I usually miss commercials because practically ALL TV that I watch is via time shifting. To be honest - I don't even watch much TV. Not enough time and not enough shows worth watching anyway. 
I just did some net searches and came up empty. Just found a few mentions of it in message forums.

I try to watch G4 a lot (however I haven't been watching it recently ever since they changed from video games programming to stupid stuff entertainment  ), so if I ever the chance I can record it with the VCR and quickly digitize it for you guys.

I noticed the time the commercial ran here, 7:40 EST. It would be nice to see that new character, but alas, It looks to me like viral marketing.. Could we please have our cake and smash it into your face, G4? yeah.

The 2nd commercial uses part of W. Jared Brookes' Tron animation. Wonder if he knew about it.

Jared Brookes wasn't made aware of it beforehand, but he's okay with it. He first noticed this vid about a month ago. Of course, he wishes they would've asked first...

I've now tried two PC. The first will play on both and the second video won't play on either. I click on it and it says loading and shows a length of 35 seconds but then nothing. Any ideas?

Dude, those commercials are great!
The first commercial is extremely well done. Mixing the Knight Rider theme with TRON in the second commercial was pure genius.
