When I try to launch TRON 2.0, I get this error:
"Error initializing the renderer. In order to play TRON 2.0 you must have Direct X 9.0a installed and a video card that supports hardware TnL."
I've got the latest DirectX version and I know my video card is compatible. Any ideas?

Sometimes, I find that after installing a new version of or an update to DirectX, I need to uninstall and reinstall both my video card and sound card drivers in order for everything to work properly. Yeah, I got the exact same error when I booted the game for the first time. My card wasn't TnL compatible at all, but after installing and running TRON Patch Update version 1x042c, it fixed it for me and the game ran normally.
You can download TRON 2.0 PatchV 1x042c for TRON 2.0 here:

I hope this helps!

Codebreaker, your graphics chip is the problem. It's an integrated video chip that lacks TnL. Did you try the advice I mentioned in my previous post? It's likely the only way you're going to get the game to work, without buying a new graphics card.
I know the Intel site says the game is supposed to work on the 865G chipset with the latest patch, but I have yet to hear any success stories. Regardless, the patch "enables support" by ignoring the fact that the 865G chipset doesn't have TnL. Which is exactly what 3D-Analyze also does, as mentioned in my advice.

Okay, the 3D Analyzer worked, but after I quit the program and go back in, all my saved games are gone!

Well, I don't think 3D-Analyze would be the cause of your saved games disappearing. I tested the program myself just now, and my saved games didn't go anywhere.
Maybe you accidentally chose another player profile? Then it would look like all your saved games are gone, because they're associated with another profile.
Either that, or your saved games became corrupt by some fluke. It happens sometimes.
Actually, wait . . . did you save those games before you applied the patch? (Maybe you copied them over from another computer, where the game was working?) That would explain it. As I warned in my Mini-FAQ post, patching the game causes old saved games to become useless, and you have to start over.
