Went to Hasteings today looking for a Pink Floyd cd and stumbled upon Fritz Lang's METROPOLIS on dvd. Bought it on the spot! I've got a bowl of popcorn ready and am about to watch this masterpiece. I've never seen the film before, but I know I won't be dissapointed one BIT.

Also my Dad got me a die-cast 1961 Imperial convertable! White body with red interior. This diecast is extremly impressive!It has folding seats, opeing doors, classic adjustable steering wheel, folding backseat middle armrest, roll down windows, retractable antenna, opeing engine compartment and trunk, and moveable sunvisors. The hood is even hinged like a REAL car! Oh, and they also carpeted the floor interior and trunk for full automotive effect. I swear this is one of those models you want a mini spotlight shining on it.





It's a thing of automotive beauty.

Today, after practices and auditions galore, the school Talent Show finally took place. My brother on vocals, two of his friends on guitar and drums and me on bass, doing Hexagram by the Deftones (a very heavy song with a lot of screaming).

We didn't win, but I'm still amazed we even got past the auditions! My brother scared quite a few people in the front rows with his screaming, and the usually calm and quiet me erupted into erratic fits of head banging (but because I did the proper warm-ups and cool-downs, I don't have a sore neck! Huzzah!)

But I probably still won't be able to move my head tomorrow.

Oh well, all in all, it was a fun day. I'm waiting to get the tape back from a friend who filmed it for me.

While out at a Dollar General Store I found a Gutsman.exe figure for two bucks. A nice little addition to my robots at my apartment. Also got my power windows switch fixed in my PT cruiser.
