I need to fill you in on a little back-story first:

I don't celebrate my birthday anymore. I stopped when I was 31 (that was a at least few years back). Since I don't celebrate it anymore, I also don't talk about it or share the date with anyone. I'm just weird like that, I guess you could say.

Some websites require a birthday be entered - MySpace and YouTube are two of them that I am a member at. I usually put in the right year, but I change-up the date from site to site. Right now, I'm different ages on both of these sites.

A few of you on MySpace have sent me birthday wishes and I was like "What? It's not my birthday..." and then I realized that on MySpace I put November 1st as my birthday. Ahh - ok, that made sense. The birthday wishes are greatly appreciated, just a little late... or maybe early.

And now on to the subject of this post:

One TRON-Sector member did a little more than just shoot me a birthday greeting... he actually entered the digital world of... no, not TRON...

In fact, I'm running some maintenance on him right now. It seems your tribute to double-oh 8-bit has inflated his head a little. We should have it back down to normal size soon.

You really put a lot of detail in to that for a quick 3-hour project.

I'd love to see what you come up with if you spent some serious time on a creative project.

Man, when I was your age, all I could do was play with some very basic computer animation. I had no video camera, there were no digital home computer editing tools, and even my animations were programmed in... as in coded in point by point, vector by vector, and for-next loops to draw, erase, and redraw them on basic plotted paths to make them appear to move. How I WISH this kind of technology was available back then!

You've got the tools now and you're young enough to have time on your hands. Create, man, create!

Now, for my Thanksgiving and Christmas videos, I'd like for you to make some videos that have more...
