Whoa - as awesome as they look, and as much as I want one, I'd never live it down if I was caught wearing one of those in public. That, and I'd continually have people running up to me just to shout things at the shirt.

You know - I was looking at that again today and realized that all they offer is a mock-up image of what the shirts look like, and no real photos of them in action... or even out of action. No video, no photos, nothing. I found that odd and started wondering if they were really any good.
Anyone find real pictures of these? I'd kind of like to see one in action. Sounds cool, but do they live up to the mental image I have in my head?

I'd say ThinkGeek is at least reliable. They don't have action shoots for it yet... means that it's probably new.

I meant are they much like those light-up shirts in the video that was posted here some weeks back. Those shirts looked really cool and the LED's were not all stiff or anything.
So is this just a shirt with a sewn-in, a somewhat stiff LED display that may or may not last for two or three wearings, or is this based on similar technology as the shirts in the video.
That's what I'm wondering.
Because if I got a shirt like this... it's getting worn a LOT!
I'm the kind of guy who'd even wear one to work, under my office shirt, and keep it turned on so that the lights shine through, and see who notices.
I know - I'm SUCH a nerd!

Well, the shirt definitly falls under the cool category!
I think it's a different technology than the other light-up shirts, but seems like should last a while and doesn't look too stiff or anything.
