Okay as you may or mostlikely may not know. I am currently studying to be a ICT teacher. I started my placement year in september and I am observing classes but I am also preparing my lessons which I start teaching in about 3 weeks time (completely wetting myself at that thought lol).

Now during my year 7 class (first year of secondary/High school) I have to teach them about faulse information when I came across this site:

Okay . . . hold on a second. I'm not a chemist, but let me get this straight.

Dihydrogen Monoxide. In other words: two parts hydrogen and one part oxygen, forming the molecule.

Um, that would be the equivalent of H2O would it not? Water.


Nice fake site. Though much of what's said there, IS true. Like water can indeed be found in our lakes, rivers, and streams. And water is a major component of acid rain.
