Each pack contains movie photo cards; sticker and 1 stick of bubble gum (do not eat!).

... aww c'mon!!! I wanted to see how many cuts I can get on the inside of my mouth by chewing on fossilized gum!

To compute or not to compute that is the question at hand. Tis nobler to compile in C++ or in TASM.

Thanks for the link Nikster ! Full boxes typically go fo $15 to $20 on eBay with a few going a little higher or lower from time to time. They're definitely a really cool Tron collectible and something every member here should seek out .

As far as this particular example is concerned though, I want to comment a little further. Although this is just my opinion, I strongly believe that the cello wrap around the box is not original. For starters, I've never seen a cello wrapped Tron box before (I've searched for Tron stuff way more than I should admit ) and, more importantly, Topps and Donruss weren't shipping any other wax boxes with any type of additional wrapping back then. I worked in a baseball card shop during the 80's and opened countless cases and never saw a wax box of any kind wrapped. Furthermore if the box had always been under the cello wrap, it probably wouldn't have that crease and scuff on the upper left side below the '36'. I bet it's simply a silver age size comic bag. That's what I use to store my example.

On a lighter note, has anyone here actually bit into old bubble gum before? It's truly just as disgusting as you would imagine .

Not to mention, the TRON cards don't come with gum, so if you get a pack that has gum, watch out!

The funny thing is: it's just as disgusting as it was to begin with, when it was still new!

Whenever I bought cards as a kid, I would just throw away the gum . . .

Now bottlecaps, candy cigarettes, smarties (the old kind here, not the modern day ones) . . . those were the bomb!

I used to work in the food industry over here. And it really depends on what is going to be shrinkwrapped. THings like this where you have XX amount per case probably wouldn't have the whole case shrinkedwrapped. Since it is in a carton for display on a counter. I used to see things like this already in places that deals in selling them for small convience stores, your local price Choppers, etc. Small display cartons that has something like this wouldn't have it.

Hmmm..these cards seem to be from the UK (at least that's where the seller is from), maybe the cards over there came with gum?

I remember going to this collectable-type place downtown and seing a card box like that and thinking "Holy crap! I need some of those!!" and then it turned out that there were different cards in the box, and no .
...that was a sad day.

Nope. The package is the same, and they'd list gum on the package someplace. Trust me, there is no gum.
