Visionstation

Random image that I stumbled upon that I thought was really cool. Just imagine what playing Tron 2.0 Lightcycles on this thing would be like. It's called a Visionstation.

Some info in this gadget.

The 1.5 meter VisionStation is designed to deliver the maximum in single-user immersive viewing. The VisionStation's wide Field of View (FOV), great sense of immersion and ease of use make for a terrific, low-cost alternative to large, unwieldy mulit-projector systems.

The VisionStation is designed to be deployable--one person working alone can set up the VisionStation in less than fifteen minutes! With a range of projectors available, the VisionStation is the perfect solution for many different projection challenges.

VisionStations are affordable, low- maintenance and easy to use. The standard VisionStation can be used for reviewing buildings, automotive and aerospace designs or as a low cost driving simulator. The modular components can be integrated into military simulations solutions such as part task trainers, cockpit, procedural trainers, mission rehearsal systems, and UAV operator consoles. The VisionStation XL20 has 1024x768 resolution and the SX21 has 1400x1050 resolution.

System Dimensions & Weight:

Overall Height: 165 cm (5’ 5”)
Screen Height: 145 cm (3’ 11”)
Overall Width: 160 cm (5’ 3”)
Screen Width: 151 cm (4’ 11”)
Overall Depth: 94 cm (3’ 1”)
Screen Depth: 53 cm (1’ 9”)
Screen Radius: 81 cm (2’ 8”)
Surface Area: 2.4 m2 (26.0 ft2)
Weight: 42 kg (93 lbs)
Crated: 112 kg (300 lbs)

Standard Equipment:

Hard shell dome and support structure, projector and lens combination, projector stand or storage desk, software, documentation, cables and power cords.

VR Price:
VisionStation XL20 - $20,500.00
VisionStation SX21 - $41,900.00

Interesting. Since it's a projector and screen, wonder if one could duplicate this via an old satellite dish and other materials.

DROOL!

Yeah - I'd LOVE to play light cycles in that thing!

I'd love to play ALL of TRON 2.0 in that!

I love the concept! It's not quite true 3D, but it is nice and big and covers almost the entire field of view!

Now all I have to do is win the lottery and I can go and get one! on line abortion pill misoprostol dose abortion medical abortion pill onlineabortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

Wow, that's really cool!

I need a lottery win also. Then I can bask in the glory of a Visionstation!

VROOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!

To compute or not to compute that is the question at hand. Tis nobler to compile in C++ or in TASM.
