Ok, that's unfair. They don't all suck. I'm a little irritated with my girlfriend, who is basically blowing me off (and has been for the past week). Blah. What says you,  -Sector? What should I do about this girl, who before was really nice and sweet and liked me a lot, and now is just all "Oh I'm really busy this week, I'll call you later" and I never get so much as an email :/

Tell her how you feel, if she doesn't deal with it, she's probably not worth the time.
EDIT: Make sure you understand why she's blowing you off right now too. Is there something important in her life that you should be supporting? Are you being needy?

Actually.... I've sometimes done stuff like that with friends sometimes.... but only if I have a good reason for it. I usually do it if something stressful is happening in my life, or I'm super busy and really can't talk to anyone. So maybe it could be something like that or maybe it could be something deeper and a little more darker like depression or something bad just happened in her life. The first most important thing is to try and narrow the possibilities down first so you don't react on the wrong one. If she really is depressed or upset about something, be there for her. It's when you're at your worst, you know who your true friend (Or romantic partners) are. Maybe if your there for her, maybe your actions may speak louder than words.  But whatever you do, DON'T BE KLINGY! If you are, that's the best way to piss someone off even if you are the nicest guy in the world. My sis has a friend like that and well you like him and you don't. He's klingier than klingwrap and that's just annoying and makes for very awkward conversations. >.

I wouldn't worry if she's been busy for a week and hasn't had much time for you. Just enjoy the extra time you have to do other things for a while. We all need our space sometimes - best not to push it or make her feel smothered.
If this behavior continues, then you may want to discuss it with her. If she comes up with excuse after excuse as to why she can't spend time with you, then let her go. For some reason, many girls (not all of them) won't give a straight answer about things, instead they give "hints". Read the hints and if they say she may not be as interested in you as you are in her, then be on your way.
It may hurt for a while, but we've all been through it. Just keep in mind that better things await you. Life is short - do not waste your time on a girl that doesn't have the time for you. 
And with any relationship - try and make it a clean break (if there is a break coming). No need to go playing the "I hate her now" crap. Don't play games - just let it go and perhaps in the future, you guys can remain friends, which is a lot better than becoming enemies. Oh how I wished I learned that important lesson while I was still in school!

My Grandmother says "Girls are like streetcars. You miss one, another one will be along in a few minutes."
I've not found that to be completely true, but it's good to tell yourself when you feel lonely.

I would agree with Davetron. Reality part its not completely true too. But it does to some extent make some sense too. And the same goes with the guys for the ladies here too. Some where in the big cogs of life we're all part of it.

I had the same problem with a girl just a couple of days ago. We were planning to go to the movies last Friday, but she kept saying, "I'm too busy". We exchanged emails and phone numbers but I didn't get any replies from her. We didn't go and I was a bit upset since it was going to be my first date. Fortunately, I got over it.

Okay basically you goto her place kick the door down (this shows her your manly powers) then you tell her to submit to your will or she'll be punished. Then you grab her with one arm swing her onto your sholder and run up into the bedroom.
Failing that you can wake up from that very nice dream you were having and pick up the phone and confront her. Dont take it laying down just say something like "hey look I am not being funny or anything but whats the deal with being all sweet to me then brushing me off? I wouldnt mind if you didnt want anything to do with me as long as you explain to me why and not leave me hanging here like a tw*t"
