Hrm. I am going to be fickle. I just used it, and it was kind of nice to see an updated posting list without having to go all the way back to the main page and reload it. I guess it's actually quite handy. :P

Yes, that's the cool thing, Boingo. I always had to kick back to the Current News page to see the last ten I/O Tower posts and it was quite bothersome. I always wished it was in the forum pages so I didn't have to kick back to the home page after posting a reply just to navigate to the next 'hot' thread out there.

So, instead of adding "top posters" to fill-out the right side, I think the last 20 or 30 (or more?) posts should be listed there; rather than how it is currently just the last 10. Only being able to see the last 10 has kind've bothered me. We crank out 10 posts in no time, sometimes; so I lose track of the threads I'm interested in and also find it harder to see what all has happened today (relatively speaking).

Having the top poster list there as Nikster mentions would be wasting space, imo. That type of info is not as pertinent, imo, as seeing what the hot threads are.

EDIT: One "meet in the middle" sort of thing (for those who don't like the right-hand sidebar) would be to replace the current left-hand sidebar with the right-hand sidebar. When in the forum area, we don't really need to have access to the Welcome, Community, Media, Articles, Games and Links sections, do we? Therefore, just move the I/O Tower "last 10 postings" (or hopefully "last 30+ postings" eventually) to the right-hand sidebar. This will bring it back to having just one menu on the left; and will help accommodate smaller screen/lower resolution users. I think the current left-hand sidebar items should be on the "Home" page; not in the forum pages. Just as long as there is a button to get back to "Home" from the forums, we should be okay. Am I right, fellow conscripts?

EDIT 2: I think clicking "Who's Online" should pop a new browser, as should clicking any URL from a thread. I just clicked "Who's Online" and it took over my forum browser window. And it has seemed like 35% of the time when I click a URL from someone's post, it doesn't pop a new browser; whereas it does the other 65% of the time. I wish it did pop a new one 100% of the time Not sure if it's something users are doing when they're coding their URLs, or what.

EDIT 2.5: I just clicked a link in a post that pointed to a different thread in the forum and it loaded in the same forum window. So maybe if they are internal links, they stay at the Sector. If they are external links, they open new browser? I wish they'd all open new browsers, but maybe that's just me...

EDIT 3: I still think it would be cool to have a quick button saying "My Last 15 Posts" or something; so we can quickly access the threads we've been involved in. Yes, we can do manual Searches, but why not have a button in the sidebar that automatically takes our login name into account? Just a thought. Maybe it's more complicated than I think.abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion
