In the film, didn't the area around the MCP have a load of crevasses? Just thought I'd point that out, although I'm sure you already knew. |
Well he can make the crevases pretty easity from what he has there. Good job Ed. If your using max to do that I would think it should just be a simple issue to scale the faces smaller uniformly and then adding a dummy object under them to assign a glow to in post abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion "How are ya gonna run the universe if you can't even answer a few unsolvable problems?" - Flynn in the real world |

I just thought of something else to say...
Can you fit that interior inside your tank model? I'd love to see it inside the tank in cross section.

You and me both, Carl.
I'm no good working in 3D renderings like the rest of you have been doing (and doing so very well, I might add), but there are creative projects I'd just LOVE to get rolling... if only I had a freakin' micro-cycle or two to play with! Not enough damn micro-cycles in the day!

Just had a thought...
Could that guy be ported over to POV-Ray just as your light cycles were?
If yes... how posable is he? And could he be posed in POV-Ray or would he need to be posed before he was ported? I'd like to take a shot at the program materializes on game grid and then light cycle materializes around him sequence but I don't think I'd get very far simply working with CSGs.
Just something else to add to the list of things I WANT to do but don't have time for at the moment.

Edd - This is some crazy stuff! How did I miss your tank interior before? And, more importantly, how in the world did you do it? Ahh, sometimes I hate 3-D modeling; and other times (once you figure some things out) it is so joyous Did you take screenshots from the movie to create those UV-maps/textures? Or did you manually create them on your own? Either way, good job!where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill onlineabortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

once again, thanks for all the great feedback, it really hepls spur me on.
carl: I am not sure about porting the figure, and he is not posable at all. Thats my next project I will post a posable figure soon (hopefuly)!
Traahn: The tank interior is a very simpe model, with some fairly simple 'map images' made in photoshop. I did make two of the maps via screen grabs (the two vertical revolving panells by driver) but I think I will remake them from scratch.
I think carl or cueball could probably make a more accurate model though.
more soon!

weve been trying to rally talened 3d guys to do a 5 minute trailer for a movie script to generate interests!
I've been trying to rally you 3d guys to create some concept scene etc...
One thing I have noticed is no one has tried to recreate the actual characters like a Jet CGI or like the actual old school people renders from the movie.. i think this is like the only thing we havent done yet.. black white greyscale with glowy effects using real people? Can this be done and would you like to join in??

Grid I'm currently working on a biped but this is my weak area of modeling (organic shapes) so its gonna take a while. Once I have a model im happy with ill post it here. When I get it rigged for animation Ill share the biped file so other animators can play with it
