My "Gate to the Mind's Eye" cd came in today from E-Bay. 
*Dances around the room happily*
Love this great soundtrack.
I remember back in the 90's when I got the "Gate to the Mind's Eye" on VHS. I watched the thing hundreds of times just soaking in the cgi visuals that the tape showcased with Dolbys awsome music. It really inspired me then, and still does even now.

Cool video clips. I love strange and odd things like that - ALL visual elements with little purpose other than to let your mind enjoy the trip.
The first one seemed like it was meant to be presented in 16:9 ratio and not 4:3. Things looked stretched vertically and distorted. It never ceases to amaze me how professional video artists often have difficulty getting aspect ratio correct when generating video files for the internet. It's such an easy thing to do, and yet so many just can't get it right.

Wasn't that "Planet Of The Lost Souls" concept done in the movie "What Dreams May Come"?
Maybe the film was inspired by this (or vice versa)
