I bet you got a LOT of combo birthday/Christmas presents growing up, didn't you?
Had a friend whose birthday was on Dec 26th as well - every year he got ALL combo gifts. Poor guy. Well, he did get cool stuff though, as I recall - so not too poor guy.

Thanks, gang, and thanks Sketch for getting it up on the main board!
I did very well growing up, actually. My parents always gave me a birthday party during the first week of Christmas (after learning the hard way when no one came to my 3-year old birthday party that was actually held on the 26th) so I always had my birthday gifts and my Christmas gifts.
So, December ruled because for the first two-thirds of the month I had new birthday gifts and then for the last half of the month I had Christmas ones!
This year was really cool as the PimpLair (tm) (a.k.a. my home theater room) is getting upgraded from 5.1 surround sound to 7.1 surround sound! Plus, I'm having a professional work on calibrating my television for HD 1080i images (for my X-Box 360 and HD cable)!
So, along with my beautiful baby boy (who made out LIKE A BANDIT, by the way), I had that on top of it!
I'm a lucky guy!
I'm also celebrating my 30th by combining it into my annual "New Year's Eve / Kevin's Birthday Party" Party this Saturday, so maybe I'll get even more gifts!
MUAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
Seriously, thanks to all of you for the well-wishes! It's nice to have you folks as my friends and extend to you an invitation to my New Year's / Birthday Party if you find yourself in Charleston, WV, this weekend!

Thanks to all of you for my 30th birthday well-wishes!
No worries, DaveTRON! I figured that the powers that be here at the sector were busy with the whole "Holidays" and "Family" things, so my post was actually in jest! No feelings hurt - just having fun!
My birthday was great! Spending it with Tara and Cameron made it special.
Having you fine folks here wishing me a happy one helped make it great, too!
My combo Christmas/Birthday gifts rock! My HDTV is now calibrated and the geometry is good to go and my 7.1 surround sound will be fully installed tomorrow! By the way, for those of you on the East Coast, if you are looking for HDTV/Surround sound work, the guy who worked on my TV is top notch (professional, courteous and METICULOUS - he took 4.5 hours on my TV alone after just spending 4 hours on my buddy's TV)! Let me know if you are interested.

Sincerely, I appreciate all of your well-wishes for my 30th!
As I've said many times here before, I'm so very blessed to have such great friends - even if I've never met a single one of you, you have all been there for me through the good and the bad.
I'm forever grateful for the friends I've made here. Kamui, Sketch, DaveTRON, Ettercap (if you ever come back), Todd, the JediUnit and the rest of you (pretty much everyone here) - you are all such great folks!
I know that Tron is what made this site bring us all together, but that movie didn't make our friendships.
That's through the grace of God and the wonderful people here.
May we one day have a Tron-Sector gathering so I can finallly meet you all!
