I'm just wondering...were there two versions of the MST3K theme with Pearl in them, or was what I found a mistranslation?
In the not too distant future
Somewhere in time and space
Mike Nelson and his robot pals
Are caught in an endless chase
Pursued by a woman whose name is Pearl
An evil gal who wants to rule the world
She threw a few things in her purse
And in her rocketship she hunts
him all across the universe.
Pearl: I'LL GET YOU!!!
I'll send him cheesy movies,
The worst I can find (la-la-la).
He'll have to sit and watch them all,
And I'll monitor his mind (la-la-la).
Mike: Now keep in mind Mike can't
control
Where the movies begin or end (la-la-la)
He'll try to keep his sanity
With the help of his robot friends.

(P.S,
I decided that if they were to put Pearl and Joel in a season together, it would be the BEST SEASON EVER!!!)

You are right. There were two different versions of the theme song.
God, I miss that show.
So many movies for them to blast...so little time.
I'd love to see them with the Star Wars Prequels and with Gigli.

I just watched the WORST movie they could've possibly done last night. (I rented some MST, because...I'm obsessed.)
Hobgoblins. The only good thing about it was the fact that it was MST'd. I was happy when I found out the DVD was damaged at the end.
