Sharpie Madness

on Friday, October, 21, 2005 12:13 AM
Some random sharpie doodles I've been doing in spare time for my sanity sake. These are in my 11x14 inch drawing pad. Enjoy.

B9 Robot is awsome. Come on admit it!
Can you tell a smoker sat down beside me during this image?

Don't you ust love the smell of Sharpie fumes in the morning? No... actually I don't.

Did these two today. These are "what if" concepts if there where Happy Meal toys for Tron. Why? Well, I've been thinking about product ideas cause of Word and Image, since we're doing ads based on the previous logo project we've been doing, so this random idea came to mind.

Light up MCP top
Firing game tank
Tron with disc throw action (Also would be a Sark version)
Pull back light cycle (Comes in all colors from the film)
Blast apart Recognizer

Wind-up crawling Gridbug
Magic 8-Ball type Bit.
Hovering Command Carrier with balanceing stand
Light up Dumont
Tron bucket, is basically the Happy Meal box. Lid comes off and can be used as a frisbee. Glow in the dark text and circuits.

Hey - those are great doodles, Sketch!

A light cycle is always a great subject of any doodle! And your robot imagery is cool as always - love the robot from Lost in Space!

First confused reco I've ever seen too! Haaaa!

Is that a western-looking bag guy robot I see in the lower image? I love the look of that - don't know why.

Of course, the way I think, it immediately made me want to see a full-blown western production, very dark in theme and presentation... and populated COMPLETELY by robots! Yes, robots in the old west, just because they lived out there and it was a dark and wild and dangerous place for them to inhabit, live and die. Come on - tell me that wouldn't be cool!

That villian bot is currently in a print I'm making in silk screen. Going for an old west theme in this print idea.

Haaaaaaaaaa!

I missed the Happy Meal Toy concepts!

Oh man - those would make AWESOME Happy Meal toys!

I want my Magic Bit-ball!

They're all great! And if TRON was the big box office hit it should have been, I'm sure we would have seen great Happy Meal toys like these 23 years ago! abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

Sure, I'll post it on my website along with my first one after I finish the current one, due Thurday. This will be my second series of prints.

Everyone's already noted my robot theme. Some have joked about it towards me, I say... biddi biddi biddi, Screw them. I don't see anyone else drawing bots on campus. What can I say, I love robots and the many aspects about them. I also collect ones that inspire me. If McDonald's had Tron Happy Meals with toys like that, not only would a lot of people probably go nuts over it . . . even I'd visit McDonald's more often and buy kids' happy meals.

Great sketches! It's amazing how you do such cool sketches in no time flat, when someone like me would take days - maybe even weeks - to do them. And they still wouldn't be as good.

Wow great drawings Sketch!
I really enjoyed them.....
and I LOVE the tron Mcdonalds's toys....
I would've went crazy if they had those
when I was a kid.....
I remember going crazy over the Super Mario Bros
toys... at Micky D's....

Now Tron Toys... that would be a real treat!
I wish they would've made Tron 2.0 the movie...
so they could've had the Tron 2.0 toys
at Micky D's i'd buy so many happy meals just to get the toy... lol
