Dave,
You're absolutely right. Eisner breathed new life in a floundering company. The animation dept. sure grew and prospered under him.
Unfortunately people always remember how you went out. Which is why some of the greats like the Police, Bill Watterson (Calvin And Hobbes) and more torpedo themselves at the moment of greatness. In the hopes of preserving that.
Eisner was instrumental in making Disney a powerhouse. When the time comes to step aside one always hopes it’s with some fanfare. Unfortunately for him it was with a whimper.

Too true, I just hate to see people forget the former and only spew about the latter. They seem so uninformed.

I noticed ABC has the NASCAR contract a few days ago, I wonder if the disney sports car will be in a tron uniform.
So, in perspective on Isner and Disney, I'm sure they are lucky to have thier cake and eat it too, but make no mistake, they have everyone by the balls. I dont know if anything will be benefited by a new CEO, except for the fact, he may not have a movie called fahrenheit 9/11 under his belt. The cover ups will just give the impression to everyone what this company stands for. I dont have a good one, and if the special interests give presedence over the public's conscience, (if any) they are the enemy.

Not true. Disney is not the big fish in the sea anymore. They have competition from ALL over.. and not just here on American shores. It's getting to be a tricky market these days. I am happy I'm in healthcare and not entertainment

EDT: I guess I maybe possibly misunderstood this. Did you mean that you just disapprove of this film?

Ok, what I meant, has nothing to do with who's balls are twisted publicly, I mean how they went about doing business, or with whom, for gain. I wasn't saying they are "the worst", I think they are disney. (and I know where this is going when I didnt see nascar in the post).

If I go into a discussion of this nature, it wouldn't be pretty. The point I made, was that a man who greenlighed a film during the time it was Eisner, or the goons who pick Disney co. pockets to lobby to foreign interests, and I dont like anyone of them, so if you want to discuss this, you can expect I would make that the case.

Erm, thanks, but dont take that lightly..
If JFK was worth 3x more, dead, I would have no sympathy, or compassion. I know what the powers represent, and you will only gain a laugh..
That's life, and I wouldn't have wanted to be JFK, because first, I dont like people who use junk science.
I dont like the template of the modern government, and noone focuses on how bad it is, untill it's too late (it's too late). People need thier dignity, and who will represent? I hate the government or whatever, who will judge? Your dollar is not what I want to hear. But now you know, the dead are worth more when you throw them in the trash. So, this wasn't a short, understandable reply, but, you knew what I meant, right?

He backed up the development of Disney World with his own money. Or so I was told while I worked there.

oh it just gets better and better, ABC, Paramount, Disney. maybe you should reprase the question, DaveTRON,
like, "
What good did Viacom ever do for developing TRON?", and,
"Did Eisner like Star Trek, more than Tron? I wonder why?"
I would make that more eloquent, but you get what I mean.

Roy Disney SR. did that. I am referring to Roy Disney Jr., who has done nothing in my opinion. DaveTRON

No Jademz, I don't get what you mean because what you write rarely makes any sense to me at all. I look at that and go "Huh?". Not sure what you are trying to accomplish with that babble, but it makes no sense to me. Eloquence is not what it lacks, coherence is the word I think you should consider. DaveTRON

Ah, yes. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
Well, here's hoping that Tron can make a comeback once Eisner leaves. It's about time he left.abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

Does anyone know how much the rights for Tron are worth (general guess is fine)?
Is it millions?
tens of millions?
Hundrends of millions?
Just curious.

Oh, sorry DaveTRON, I'll be sure to type cognizant.
I dont like the movies from paramount, ABC, or Disney's newer movie titles. Maybe Isner and co. are poking fun at each other at the thought of a serious Tron film. That was my intent, I dont mean to undermine anyones credit, but it appears there is much to be desired.. in the media above all.on line abortion pill misoprostol dose abortion medical abortion pill online |
