I'm just really tired of your attitude, DJ. (You're not going to impress people that way.)

Yes, macs do have their good points. But as I said, they hate ME. They won't function very well in my presence! I've had a mac ate my html files when I started my website in 1997. (I swear. It woudn't show the damn files even though they were clearly still there.)

I'm open-minded. I'm willing to try ANY kind of operating system. And I say this: OS-X is stable compared to their past OSes. (Nevermind, I got it to die once.)

So, seriously. Please don't attack us for something that we NEVER said. Don't be like the other mac fanatics who are so defensive that they alienate everyone! Just be more open-minded and understand that everyone has their OWN computering preferences.

...if I could, I'd stick with C64 and actually browse the internet with it! (Yes, I do have a functional C64, but I lack geos and a diskette drive. :<)

Edit-- Yes, I acknowledge the OK, but I just wanted to say my piece. XP

Kia: Cool. I'm a infamous mythological perfect User.

I'm a PC user, and use Macs on campus for my graphic courses. I find Macs akward in many aspects but I don't hate them, but I do hate the "I'm a supperior user cause I use a Mac" attitude. I've gotten somewhat used to using the Macs in class doing graphic assignments. I must admit I do enjoy poking fun at apple. Today it seems Apple is more about product design than anything. Man, who ever is deisgning their stuff right now has to be making a ton of cash.

At my previous college I did work study as the Mac Lab guy. I was over 30 individual I-Mac computers with OS-9. It was then I learned how to use a Mac. I also learned that the suckers bite back with vengance.

Drags and drops into trash bin to eject. Wheeeee.

Fun fact: When out in California, when I went to a "Black Box with Apple Logo" store, my HP digital camera became nonresponsive for a full 15 minutes after entering the store. I found that both funny and errie. Apple Karma is funny thing.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

I like how they've expanded into other areas too!

That's interesting, DaveTRON. I wonder why Mac would allow those blatant ripoffs of their commercials?

As for Macs, yeah, I questioned them when I saw the lame mouse. More time was spent on appearance than functionality. Anything that goes strictly for style points without any thought for ease-of-use or ergomomics gets their score lowered considerably by me. At that point, they're more worried about the "oh cool" factor so they can jack the price up by showing a piece of art for a computer, rather than making something that has good functional design. Maybe I'm way off-base, but that's my recollection anyways.abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

I will say that they have some absolutely gorgeous flat panel monitors out, but I'd hook it up to my PC if I bought one. There is something to be said for style, but where PC lacks style tome, it has substance all over the Mac, whereas the mac has great style and less substance to me. I grew up on DOS and Windows, so I like that world.

If I'd grown up on an Apple II I might have been sitting on the other side of the fence with DJ Aussie E. It's funny how entrenched we get over the years.

I have been toying with Linux, but it's not very natural to me despite my DO background. Just way out of practice.

I think we all should like what we like and leave it at that. After all TRON lives in all of them right? where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

Don't get my totally wrong. I love style and would appreciate more of it in the PC world, but to completely bypass functionality in favor of making it cool makes no sense to me. Some cell phones I've seen do this. They look great, but good luck trying to use it. Buttons are in wacky places; they're difficult to use; buttons are not user-friendly; etc. The first nGage phone comes to mind. Man, that thing was a joke. It may look cool when you hold it in the palm of your hand, but when you use it -- it looks like you're holding a taco up to your ear

My word Dave.. that is funny! ... yet creepy at the same time.

Bongo... those comics rock! That is freakin funny!

Yeah ever since Apple came out with their white with a clear color scheme it ushered in a slew of other products that mimics that same theme. Their color shcemes are very nice. They are beautiful machines. You sit infront of one almost afraid to use if for getting finger prints on it nice shiney housing.

I've always found I-Macs personalities to be interesting. The mac lab for example, almost every one of those 30 Macs had their own personality. Some worked great while some acted like demon spawn. I need to post an image I made for photography class to best sum this up. We used OS 9 and it worked okay, but there where minor bugs that affected things in big ways. When we switched them over to OS 10 the lab worked whole alot better. They ran smoother and didn't freeze up as much. Course the down side was that the main Epson printer would no longer work for a OS 10 diver wouldn't be made by Epson until almost a year later. That sucked cause the large color Epson printer was great for printing out 15x20 size posters. The coolest discovery I made during my Mab Lab days was the text to speech option. Boy I had ball with that. I know, I'm a simpleton, but it's fun to rig a Mac's error messages.

Woah, calm down DJ. No need to get cranky over what other people say about a Mac. People use what best suits them or is avaliable to them.
