I had a pet hamster once. It was about 10 years ago. Those are cool pets, but they don't last very long. 
I had one of those hamster balls for him to run around the living room in. I thought it would be cool for him to be able to run all over the place in the safety of his hamster ball.
In reality though, all he did was pee and poop all over the inside of it. It was really a very messy ordeal to put him in there... well, more messy when he was finished. I think he thought the ball was like going to the bathroom or something because he always peed all over it within just a minute or so of putting him in there. Yep, he peed a lot!

Things I learned when I had a hamster.
1. Their little pee and poop machines.
2. They chew ANYTHING, including fingers.
3. They like to keep you up at night chewing.
4. If you have two, prepare to watch them battle over the hamster wheel. Comedy ensues when both try to use the wheel at once.
5. If the hamster ball is out of view and you hear something bounce down the stairs, that's not good.

I had a hamster. I liked watching him stuff his cheeks with food. I named him "Huey" as in "Hamster Huey And The Gooey Kablooey".
Can anyone name what that's from?
I had a friend once who's Hamster got out and we thought it was gone for good. Turns out it escaped and was living on dog food and chewed a hole in the back of their piano and was living the life of Reiley there.

i prefer Rabbits to Hamsters. i don't know why. i just think they're more loveable.
i have 2 rabbits [as well as 6 chickens] one i realized yesterday can do a magic trick [picking the same playing cars twice in a row. i have a video of that. i might post it, when i can find some way to upload it.]

One of my friends had two hamsters...it was a long time ago.

My team at Activision inherited a dwarf hampster named Snoopy. He was great. Then one weekend someone put his water bottle in wrong and he spent a weekend soaking wet. He died a few days later due to the disease he contracted from all the water in his cage.
