Thanks for the heads up.

That was a good article about TRON. Good find, laphtiya!
And now for today's shocker moment!
Are you ready?
Here we go!
I, a MAJOR TRON fan, did not know that Bruce Boxleitner was in Scarecrow and Mrs. King!
Then again, I've never seen an episode of the show. It didn't appeal to me at all. Though back in the day, one would have thought I would have noticed TRON in a TV show. But I never made the connection.
But that article was a good one and fun to read.
I've also seen a movie review that compared the MCP to the Kool Aid Man as well - the review was not flattering. This guy made it work in his article though - good chuckle.
I have to as you guys - did you think the MCP was cool?
I LOVED the fact that the MCP was a giant spinning sphere like that seemed hard wired in to the system. That image was very cool to me as a kid, and still today. I wasn't disappointed to find the major villain of the film was a giant spinning cylinder at all - it seemed very computery and cool. Never thought Kool Aid Man at all - just plain COOL!

Yeah me neither but it's one of those funny fringe comparisons... like.........
George Bush and a Chimpanzee.

That was really cool Laphtya, I thought that was very creative. I thought the MCP looked like the Koolaid guy, but I kept seeing those eyes and I just lost interest. heh. But, that was hilarious.

Hahaha...
Now that I think of it, the MCP DOES look kinda like the Kool-Aid Guy!
That's funny.
AND THEY MADE AN OFFICE SPACE REFERENCE!! YAY!!! ==

I was particularly amused by the "how computer hackers REALLY look" and the "outsourced union temps" lol

Yes!
I was looking at it while at work and was straining red-faced to not burst out laughing.
