as many of you know, tron 2.0 was released for consoles and handhelds... and they made changes that many people here didn't quite like. the X-box version aparently has Halo helmets on the Online gameplay modes for example.
well looking at this piece of promotional material may give some insite into why...
Notice Microsoft chose green... the color of coruption in the tron universe... they are admiting in this screen cap that they Corrupted the game!
if you have no other means of playing tron 2.0 i would still recomend the platform as the story is what i loved about it, it was a great game and even with a few changes it couln't have hrt the game i loved too much (i hope)

It couls also mean that they want the game tron 2.0 to be associated with the Xbox as well. I think some parts or the association is green for that too. Knowing mIcrosoft that like to go delve deep in poor code and the what nots.

The X-Box wasn't really popular to begin with. There were some people who were less than happy with microsoft in the first place.
Also, in my eyes: Microsoft buying out several companies for X-Box games did not help their case any. It only showed that they were willing to buy companies instead of working out a deal.
With that being said, I'm pretty sure Nintendo fans were angry when they found out about Rare being bought out. (Rare had previously made games for Nintendo such as Donkey Kong Country, Conker's Bad Fur Day, amongst several others)
I think Microsoft really does not know what they're doing with the x-box and end up stepping on quite few toes in the process. Maybe they're improving with 360, but only time will tell.

Well, I was a die hard Sony gamer for a while there. I bought the PS2 when it originally came out (during all those shortages) and swore up and down I would NOT get an X-Box.
Then I changed my mind, mostly because of Tron 2.0 and the price was finally right.
Since then I have played some PRETTY awesome games on the X-Box (Munch's Oddysee, Knights Of The Old Republic, Dragon's Lair 3D, Fable).
I think the X-Box is a great console and have enjoyed it immensely. As to their business dealings, well, I can't speak so much for that because I don't follow business dealings. Seems like game studios come and go in the blink of an eye.
I don't play games on my PC (Although I think I may get Tron 2.0 for the multiplayer stuff, that sounds fun.) I know we could get the debate going again about consoles vs. PC's, but just leave it at the fact that I won't play games on my PC, and the X-Box has a lot of titles that I cannot get on the PS2. (Doom 3).

Hmm. I thought Doom 3 was coming out for all three consoles?
I guess I'm wrong. X_x I'm just used to games coming out on all three consoles.
I have no problems playing games on PC and Consoles. I don't see why there should be a debate about that.  PC is just another gaming platform along with several other necessary things.
