And Redrain, the police station scene is in the novel. Now, there are less humans in the book than in the film. L.A. is not overpopulated in the novel. Rather, it's quite the opposite. Everyone's left for the colonies.
It's cool with me if you want him to be a Replicant, folks. I'm sure not gonna argue with your tastes! It's just not my flavor!
