It becomes apparant that no one's really watched a Myazaki film. I absolutly love his films. The animation is incredible. I recall when I first got Spirited Away on DVD and I first watched it. I was floored by how good the animation was. So much so that I wanted to see other Myazaki films and manga. I'd have to say, NO ONE can BEAT Myazaki. You can come close but no one can beat him. *Idolizes Myazaki*

Yeah but there are still tricks used. Having characers speak with their backs to the camera or off screen saves animators time as does the overall sharing of the workload. You have to consider that in most anime productions it is not just a team of animators from one studio doing the work, but perhaps as many as 4 or 5 studios. Maybe even more. Anime houses like Production I.G., Xebec, A.I.C., TMS, Tatsunoko and many others, regularly farm work out to each other and collaborate on a single production effort. Its not like the U.S. method where usually one or two studios work on a single animation.
