and i cant hear when i shoot
or when a Rec gets hit
thats weird becuase i see those sounds files
in the data folder....

I dunno if this is the same guy or the same game, but I came across this web site when looking for a PC version of the arcade game from The Last Starfighter.

There are also links to a bunch of different movie related games there. The functions are much like MAME in that you have to wait for the "boot up" screen to go away, which could take anywhere from 30 seconds to 5 minutes depending on your system. I'm not kidding. Then you have to press 5 to insert a coin and 1 to start the game. As far as I know, most of these games only give you like one life, so when you die you have to start over at the beginning. If the Space Paranoids game doesn't thrill you, the Last Starfighter one is pretty accurate to the movie. Worth a download.
