I was sad to hear about the death of Bob Hoskins today. Such a shame.

He was a brilliant actor, and really entertaining.

I can remember, when I was about 8 or 9 years old, my mother taking me to see Who Framed Roger Rabbit at our local cinema (which has now been demolished years ago and turned into a block of flats).

I can remember it was during a school night (it was dark, so it must have been later), and my mother took me straight from school.

This in turn meant that that I was sitting there in the audience still wearing my brown school uniform. :-/

I'll never forget that.
