I love how when CLU's examining Flynn's room he picks up and inspect the "modern" bit ornaments on the mantel, he simply sets it down and say

Jeff Bridges: [laughs] I will give you some good news, there’s a thing that was cut quite drastically in this movie, but it was something that I brought into it. You can actually purchase this, it’s called a “Yoshimoto cube.” It’s a little cube and it’s the coolest thing, man. Looks like a Rubix cube, but its silver and you open it up, and you can kind of turn the cube and then you can take it apart and turn it into two bits. And in the movie I did a whole thing where I had them do an insert of me doing this thing, I still today, I love to jack with it. It’s almost like worry beads.
The only time you see it in the movie is when I put it on the mantle of the fireplace and it’s the thing that looks like bit, and Clu comes up and looks at it for a second, and that always had some Bit-ishness to it. You know what I mean? I thought that was a big thing: how do we include Bit and what? Maybe in the 3rd they’ll bring that back because I thought that was a wonderful character and there could be a lot of comedy with that. |

Please, please, please no "comedy." The original Bit was cute and funny without anyone trying... if they put effort into this, we'll have another Jar-Jar Binks, and then all of the Tron fans will take a collective flying leap into a power fluctuation.
