That my dear friends is an understatement. :/

It's bad enough that people pay for the basic Disney Channel and get nothing but reruns of "Hanna Montana" and other cheesy (and unfunny) sitcoms. Those who also pay the premium price for Disney X D get slapped in the face with more of that garbage.

MotorCity and TRON: Uprising to be moved to a later time to catch some of that Adult Swim buzz?

Episodes are released on iTunes and the Playstation Store the day after (in the United States, at least) in HD for $2.99.

The new scheduling would be fine with me. I have to work when new episodes air and assuming this would be the midnight on Saturday nights/Sunday mornings (as opposed to Sunday nights/Monday mornings), new episodes would air right when I get home from work.

That would be awesome.

Also why is this show listed under "Comedy" on the Playstation Store.

Could someone post a link to the PlayStation Store Uprising page? I can't find it.

The Playstation Store's Uprising page no longer has Grounded and does not have We Both Know How This Ends. If you search for Tron using the search function, you should be able to find it.

I tweeted Charlie Bean asking him if he knows what's going on with this. Hoping for a reply soon as he does seem fairly active.

Well, at least we have SOME idea of when they're gonna air.

Hopefully they'll be consistent now.

It has been consistent. There has been a new episode every Friday at 7:30et/6:30ct ever since The Reward. Can anyone confirm if We Both Know How This Ends actually aired last night or not?

There was Scars pts 1 & 2, but nothing after that. At least, not on the regular X D. Did Grounded and We Both Know How This Ends air on X D On Demand?

Not sure if Disney X D On Demand works differently depending on the on the cable/satellite provider. Not sure why it would...but--. The only eps. showing in Charter's in particular are "The Renegade pts 1 &2", Blackout". and "Identity". The first part of "Renegade" will cease showing on the 19th. So...not sure if they'll put up the newer episodes afterwords.

And to note, the TV Guide had "The Stranger" listed for the 6:30 CST this Thursday but changed the programming. Then jumped the episode to the following Friday at the past usual timeslot.

But moving the series to 12am Mondays? (EST I'm presuming) While disappointed about the time personally would be relieved there would be a set schedule.

Hope a DVD of the first season is in the works after all this. *thonk*

Most definitely want a DVD. After all this rigmarole, we deserve something like that.
Or a soundtrack release. That would be nice.

Also, was looking at the X D show listings, and noticed how many of the shows they put on in the day are rerun episodes. Often of the same 1/2 hour show for about 2 hours. Would it kill them to put reruns of Uprising up every now and then?

Wait, Grounded didn't air last week? Maybe it was leaked onto the Playstation Store, then.

Just checked Charlie Bean's Twitter. Apparently no episodes until December 2nd. Show isn't getting very good ratings because not too many people know about it.

ok come on why is Disney X D scheduling the next episodes at SO late at night/super early in the morning??? when NONE of the supposed target audience is even awake??? It's like they are purposefully trying to kill it! What the Frak???

IMO Tron Uprising *should* be aired on ABC (owned by Disney) right before "Once Upon A Time" which i've heard is getting very good ratings. IF Disney did that, and ran ads on ABC (and the Disney Channel along with airing re-runs there TOO) Primetime for Uprising, they'd attract a bigger audience and most likely good ratings.

It's a damn shame what's happening with Tron: Uprising. It's far better than most animated shows these days. I do wonder if Disney buying Star Wars have anything to do with it. Maybe they wanted to clear their fridays for a new Star Wars show or something like that.

The Disney X D website has the TV schedule showing the episode of "The Stranger" airing at 7:30pm ET on Friday November 30th, with a re-airing Saturday night at 8pm ET.

Usually this is the guide I go by....but if they were trying to decide on a times lot, why choose the same time?!

If this is true, it's not a half bad idea. Heck a whole block of animation from Disney that is targeted to older fans would be a good idea imo.

And can you tell me what kind of adult is going to be awake at 1 in the morning on a Monday to watch Motorcity on Disney X D?

I have no idea, like Spark I'll be taping it. Like anything that comes on Adult Swim that I enjoy.
