Thread for discussing the upcoming episode Grounded, which airs on November 9th.
Haven't been able to find too much info about this one, though I recall hearing about it in the past.

Is the appearance of Tron: Uprising episodes dependant on the cable/satellite provider? Last night and this morning the On Demand had listed "The Renegade pts. 1 & 2" "Blackout", and "Identity. But "Grounded was nowhere to be found.

Grounded has been removed from the Playstation Store, and last night's episode is nowhere to be seen.
Getting worried.
EDIT: If it was on iTunes, it has also been removed from there.

Saw both Grounded and "We all know how this ends" last night. Grounded was on Xfinity on-line viewing ONLY and "We all know how this ends" was on Xfinity On-Demand as "Episode 10".
I know somebody has something messed up because although WAKHTE was labeled episode 10 and Grounded was labeled 11, the preview opening of WAKHTE had a scene from Grounded.

These two episodes are still not on the Playstation Store. I'm not going to be worried unless there's still nothing on there this coming Saturday.

That's correct. Also -- here's a recent news post where I talk about the current state of the series -- and a sneak preview screening I had of "The Stranger", which is a few episodes away from airing. As well, there'll be an upcoming TRON: UPRISING soundtrack release!

Well gridbugs. I looked on iTunes for it, and they have it, however.....
They split it into Volume 2 already. Now, this presents a bit of a problem for me. I WAS going to purchase the Season Pass on Volume 1, thinking it would contain Grounded, WBKHTE, etc., because the price of the individual episodes left in Volume 1 for me is less than the cost of the Season Pass. But now, Grounded is elsewhere. People who HAVE the season pass, did it download Grounded for you? If it didn't, I'll probably purchase the rest of Volume 1 individually and Grounded individually, and watch for a season pass option on Volume 2.

I got it from the Playstation Store this morning.
Watched it and, of course, loved it.
Tesler reprimanding the Black Guard was pretty hardcore. Loved that scene! As well as Beck's entrance into the square.

Disney and Good Marketing Decisions don't always go hand in hand. John Carter and Tron:Legacy are two great examples. For Legacy, I would have re-released the original Tron in 3D for a special Family Viewing Package. One child free with paying adult, special Tron:Legacy 3D glasses for all, a sneak peek at the new movie, with a dollar off Legacy when you bring your free glasses. Disney's idea to Hide Tron was a costly error. I've just about had it with Disney. Spending 120 Million on a ad campaign aimed at original fans, who were going to see it anyway! Are they really that ignorant?! Oh, and don't get me started on John Carter of Mars. A great movie that suffered from the poor advertising decisions of Disney's Best Marketeers. They need to fire the entire marketing team and get a new one. Something tells me it's an internal struggle between the anti-Tron and pro-Tron execs, not too different than Congress fighting over the budget. One reason why they put it at midnight, I suspect, is due to the mature storyline or fight sequences that is up to quality of anime rather than the sanitized violence of most Disney cartoons. Tron: Uprising, to me, is probably THE most violent they've ever had in their channel and may be scared of parental backlash.
There needs to be some kind of media exposure on Disney's poor marketing execution on Tron Uprising to force them to get their acts together. We can't just sit there and carp about it. Does'nt Boxleitner know this? Should'nt he be in position to say, "Disney, quit hiding this gem. This was the right show to bring out at this time and age. Grow a pair of balls!".

Well then. The remaining episodes in Season/Volume 1 are less than the cost of the Season Pass, so I'll pass on that and buy the episodes individually. Thanks!

Okay, so it appears Able KNOWS now. The big question is how did he figure him out? I suspect he followed him or had someone spy on him. BUT, my gut feeling is that Able is part of the. . .Resistance.
