That was an awesome game back in the 80s! I used to have it for the C-64 (or C-128 to be precise) and was so addicted to it all those years, even Gunship from Microprose. Good times.

I backed Star Citizen when I first saw it appear on Kickstarter, its going to be epic. However I do prefer Elite's idea of realistic sized galaxies. In Elite 2 you had a galaxy that had 100 billion star systems you could explore, Elite dangerous will have this but in terms of several Galaxies.
