Tron Uprising : "Identity" episode 5 of season 1 ,
introduces us to a character named Kobul.
( voice is lended by Mark Boone Jr. - the fat dirty cop on the Batman movies & plays a dirty biker in sons of anarchy.)

Anywho, I think the drawing of this character resembles an awful lot like Peter Stormare.

Right away, I thought it would be his voice since most of the UPRISING characters have a slight resemblance to their voice creators.

Personally, I like the way Peter played Satan in Constantine.
however, amungst friends he's most recognized as the russian cosmonaut in Armageddon.

Thanks, I just watched it and I have to say that I got the same way at the end. It's amazing how well written these characters are in the way that they pull you into their lives.

Just watched IDENTITY, it was amazing. I like the scene where Beck jump into the building and then back into the highway, all shot in 1 straight scene, so awesome.......^^
I do bit felt emotional where TRON try to save Beck of mentioning that they're friends.

Really great episode! Although why Tron would let Beck ride a light-cycle by himself /after/ he started having the glitches, I don't know(aside from the fact that it was necessary for the plot). Not a smart move, that.

I noted that Tron has brown eyes in this series. In Betrayal and Evolution and (I think) in Legacy, he has blue eyes. In the original, he has grey, of course, but what is the canon color for the new grid?

Well, TRON and Beck finally became friends after all, I can't wait to watch what left to be discover between Tron and Beck for the future episodes....^^

I was disappointed by the Mara/Zed sideplot. In Blackout I got excited about how Zed was becoming more and more anti renegade while being Becks friend. Expected some interesting conflicts and dramatic stuff to come from that, but now it doesnt look like it anymore.

Great episode! More emotion than I expected (the Tron reveal moment was particularly effective) and as usual the action was top notch. Will continue watching with great interest.
