... it shows Tron (1982) will soon be at Silver Spring, MD (AFI Silver Theatre and Cultural Center). (Edit: See my post below, underneath TiggerMan's post. It seems Tron will play at AFI Silver Theatre on 8/31 and 9/1 in 2012. Edited my post here to remove incorrect 2011 information. Thanks TiggerMan!)

Pro Tip for fellow Tron fans: Keep an eye on the above site as time goes on. It seems to get updated with new Tron 70mm showing info as time progresses. For example, sometime after it plays at Silver Spring, MD, I have a feeling it will be updated with a new location.

Hmm, that 70mm website had it correct a couple months ago for the Seattle Cinerama showing, so with it now showing Tron at a new/different city, I assume it to be correct in showing Tron coming soon to Silver Spring, MD.

Since I can get to the buy tickets screen (seems like it would error out if it was 2011?), since there is a "2012" in the URL, and since it says "30th Anniversary!", it must be happening this year... on 8/31 and 9/1.

Oh well, if this updated info is still not correct, my apologies. Just trying to help find Tron playing in other theaters around the world for fellow Tron fans. Since I don't live in the Silver Spring, MD area, I don't have much vested in this endeavor. So if anyone finds that this 8/31 and 9/1 info provided is still erroneous, please feel free to research and make corrections, if necessary. For anyone planning to go, maybe call the theater beforehand if you have any doubts that it is playing on 8/31 and 9/1.
