Custom Tron Figures

on Thursday, May, 10, 2012 10:21 PM
I've recently had a chance to finish up some of my custom figures. My original custom figure thread is outdated so here's a new one with updated pics.

Tron (Legacy)
For the head I used a Star Wars Corran Horn figure and repainted.

Quorra
For the head I used a Marvel Universe Black Widow, cut the hair and repainted.

Clu
For the head I used a Star Wars Jacen Solo figure.

Tron 7" (Legacy)
I replaced the orange led bulb with a white one, removed the clear orange plastic chest piece and replaced it with white construction paper. Chest lights up blue.

Sam 7"
For the head I used a WWE figure currently found at Walmart (forgot the name). I took out the "talking face" stem and replaced that area with the upper neck and head of the WWE figure. Figure still lights up and talks. Helmet was reassembled and fits over new head.

Grid Warriors
Repaints of the Sam figure using Games Workshop inks for the clear areas to change the light-up color.

Epically amazing! These are all pretty dang good. That Quorra is completely awesome. The "Firewall TRON", I see you were inspired by the guy who did his own TRON using the body of the Holographic Iron Man Armor figure (which I do have) and the head of the Bruce Banner figure (which I also have). Can't wait to see more.

Nice figures BTW!

That 7 in. Sam head looks good for the face, but I don't think the hair does. Are you planning on resculpting it?

Also Quorra looks not bad, but I think the face looks too oriental, and the hair is too straight.

But that's just me. They are still all nice figures!

The MU Black Widow I used for Quorra's head has a basic black female body, perfect for Gem. Firewall Tron will be a new version of Tron, just a fan made figure.abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

Basically, trekking, for the Firewall Tron, he's doing something sort of similar tothis figure, on the right (which I've brought up over at the custom figure post a while ago, in which we had the discussion about the Bruce Banner head having a pretty close appearance to Bruce), except he's going to be using the same head he used for his pre-CLU coup TRON, right.

And, BlueTronWarrior, you may want to dremmel/sand the chest down a bit for that Black Widow figure body, and then use some sculpt to fill in the gap between them. In comparison to the film, the figure's body appears to be a bit too "top heavy." Of course, that's just my interpretation of the details about the costume and the actress' size, I could very well be wrong.where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

Yeah I'll use the same Corran Horn head for my Firewall Tron. I'm calling him that because I'll probably give him a little back story once he's completed. I'm going to keep the Black Widow body the way it is, I dig the um.. 'busty' look. Besides, I still want these to look like 3 3/4 action figures, not hyper detail statues. That was a Black Widow head for Quorra? Well I guess it looks more Russian than oriental then. Or maybe its just the hair being too straight.
Something about it doesn't look like Quorra/Olivia Wilde but that might be just me.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pillabortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

Those look cool! Who is the black one?

Also I looked up Corran Horn and he is just as rare/expensive as Banner.

I thought it was more rounded around the head and angled slightly at the bottom.

Also I think the eyeliner goes to the sides too much, but that's just getting picky.

My favorite of the bunch is that Tron though, really nice head and paint.
Too bad its a rare figure the head is from. Also what color paint is that?

Yeah my Quorra's hair is round on top and angled in the back, just can't see it in the pic. Trust me I used that same pic you posted as a reference. I dig the way it came out.

The acrylic paint I used for the Tron is Blue Heaven from Ceramcoat, found at most craft stores. Games Workshop Space Wolves Gray works the same also.where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

Well yeah pictures are not the best way to see a figure, in person it would look great!

I painted Tron white from back when I thought he was white, but I really like the blue.
Will repaint!

The black one is suppose to be CLU.

And, BTW, the hair that Quorra has in the film is a bob cut (aka the flapper hair cut) with the front being at an angle (you can see that the hair is well above the right eyebrow, while the hair is completely covering her left eyebrow. The reason why the hair is like that is because when it comes to the ISOs, they are different from the regular programs. If you look at the circuit designs of the programs, most of them have a symmetrical design to the circuits (a good example is Sam's suit, which one side reflects the others). Quorra's appearance is actually asymmetrical because she's an ISO. The costume designer stated in one of the making-ofs, or at least I from what I remember, Quorra's hair and circuit lines are asymmetrical (basically, the front of her hair is angled and the circuit on the right side of her suit is thinner than the left side's). So, it's not straight or a regular bob cut like Irina Spalko's in Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

Um, ok. I just posted pics of my custom figures, I didn't intend for them to be perfect representations of the the actors/characters, just as close as I could.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to come off at all rude, BlueTronWarrior. I mean, you're customs are great and I completely understand the difficulty of finding the right head with right hair to get a close enough likeness (I myself have gone through that). The info about the hair is just a little FYI in relation to the conversation between you and trekking's conversation about the hair. Again, I'm sorry if it came off at all rude.
