I have always wondered what exactly are the Light "Curtains" that lead to the outside at the Safe House and to Castor's lounge in the EOL Club? They are not for noise since you can still hear the club when they are in there. And not for rain since that one is inside. Or are they just for decoration like beaded curtains?

Could be like a gateway of some kind.
Certain programs come in, while others stay out. I think that's why Castor/Zuse said "He built it himself" when the stairs start rising. He's implying it's sort of a secret place to chat up a contact.

Not really sure. I would think almost a forcefield-type wall.... except they're see-through, so they're obviously not for privacy. Unless they only allow you to see through if you have the correct permissions, which I suppose might be possible. I would think they would block light from the safe house from getting out, but again, if they're transparent, then obviously not. I would imagine one might need the right permissions to go *through*, though?

But when they were outside the safehouse you could see the light from it. But the permissions thing might be right.

I watched T:L tonight and when Kevin and Sam are talking outside you can still hear Quorra who is still inside the safehouse.
