I heard that Tron was initially going to be a seasoned program, maybe world-weary by the time Flynn meets him. O'Toole seems old to me but maybe that was the idea. I'm glad they went the way they did.
Now I'll have to go back and see the old film about those colour changes.
And if you're referring to Jeff anf the dance belt, all the guys wore them. And if his equipment was so big, why didn't Clu have some hiding in his suit?abortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion

Duct tape? 
I have no doubts that everybody had to wear a dance belt. I'm sorry, but when you are wearing itty-bitty spandex leggings, you're going to need somewhere to stash the junk. That's why dancers wear them.
I am so glad they didn't make Tron an old guy in tights. You have no idea.

Well, Sark's costume is not so tight, so maybe O'Tolle would have worn something similar. I'm just grateful for the eye candy we did get.

That dance belt has been referenced a lot on the Kink Meme. Funny thing is though I've been a fanfic writer since childhood, and a slash reader since my teens, the sheer amount of Ho Yay in that film went flying over my head until after college. Looking back, pretty men in skintight spandex with a lot of hugging, touching, and groping? Oh, that's just ASKING for it.
As for Mr. O'Toole? Well, while the idea of a seasoned and weary security Program would have been interesting, I actually prefer how it turned out. Maybe they could include that for the third film, especially since we don't know if TRON is stored somewhere in the Encom server in an archive after a long period of service. I think they almost had to make him a new program... otherwise, how would they have explained him being there all that time and yet not taking on the MCP? How long can one spend in the bloody Games?
