Well I was making a custom Castor figure (or at least a similar looking figure), and I need to find some plastic rods for his cane. I tried my local craft store, to no avail, so looked on ebay. They have lots of plastic rods, but I am not sure on the size. For a 4 in figure what would be better, 1/16 in. or 1/8 in. ? Thats the only 2 sizes that would even come close, as I could not use a half inch rod!

Here's a thought...
....what if you were to try a Christmas store, or maybe a party store, and maybe could find something with a small plastic candy cane that seems the right size for the Castor figure's cane?
I bet if you found a small plastic cane and were to lightly sand the paint off of it, the plastic underneath would be either white or clear acrylic. Then you could use clear tinted model epoxy to give it a luminous finish.

Good idea, but the craft of store I went to has the biggest selection of Christmas and party stuff in my area!

Hm, well, did you go in there specifically looking for canes, or for something to make canes out of? I'd say maybe give the place another try?
(and I say that because, often I will go to a craft or thrift store with a certain thing in mind for a costume or prop, and I won't find it, but, because I wasn't thinking in terms of other options to try I miss seeing those there too....then sometimes if I go back there with a new plan in mind - zoop! there they are)
Either way, hope you find something that works for it.

Good point, as I was not looking for those sort of things. But I did look for party stir sticks, and they only had paper.  And I totally get the thrift store bit, I do it all the time! I don't mean length, but width. Thats a bit harder to do when its width. But good idea anyway! where to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online
