I do plan to completely recreate the coding for the controls. If anyone can suggest any specific thoughts on the subject, I am always listenin'.

I've given thought to the ability to place Light-walls with the tank. I'd like input on that Idea, as it feels little un-canon to me, but I think that I could implement it well.

And. I think I want to make it say End of Line; instead of Game Over. When I tried it out, it looked silly in the standard font, so I guess an upcoming step will be to rework the font

You are correct.
I shall work it so that you will only have one enemy firing at you at once while destroying the first portal at least.
Gradual will be the way to go, as implementing separate difficulties may mean separate highscore tables. I wish to avoid that at all cost.

Different levels might inhibit gameflow. But so does traversing void arena like you said. I can make the very first portal not spawn randomly as it currently does. Rather, nearby and spawning limited foes as mentioned earlier. Sort of a training Instance perhaps.

Some gameflow enhancement is priority at the moment.
Then I wish to consider a tertiary weapon. I've just thought of using a homing gridbug. It seems that most people have a lot of trouble with the amount of lead required to hit enemies. So I would like to bring in one weapon that is a matter of fire-and-forget. Homing gridbug is just one idea that would fit. It could just be a homing missile though.

I had my computer lock up while playing it but I think that had more to do with the nasty viruses my computer has been getting here. Still a great game!!
