Glad you had a good time, Spark. Wonder why Cheurfa didn't show. Pity really. And I love the things you've bought. I can't seem to find to much of anything except high priced leftovers.

Has anyone here been to MegaCon? It's in Feb 2012 and that's my birthday month (Happy Birthday to me if I can go!), and Bruce will be there, amongst other faves of mine. I hear only that it's smaller than SDCC but is it good?

Yeah, they're both really nice. And I was really surprised that Bruce remembered me! Pleasantly surprised, but surprised all the same. When I gave him the piece of paper with the Tron-Sector website on it, he said he already visits here on occasion. I just shrugged and told him I was given orders by all of my online friends(i.e. you lot >_o) to give him the paper. And since I can't seem to hang on to both of my disks(the second one keeps rolling away and I have to go chasing after it), I have to obey the orders. Refusal to follow commands results in deresolution, after all. He laughed and said that I was following orders like a good program. That made me giggle. Hopefully Cindy will find out why Rinzler purrs and will post the answer here. We all want to know - me in particular.

Bruce was awesome when I met him earlier in the year and got his signature. Cool guy. Joked around a bit. Wish I could've met Cindy last year at SDCC '10.

Hey, no need to thank me...it was a total joy to attend, and I'm grateful for the opportunity.

I think your idea for expense funds may help those who have to travel a long way to attend and/or get lodging plus pay full admission prices.

In my case, I'm local, and am also fortunate to have a friend who arranged day passes for us at an extremely low cost, so thankfully there wasn't really much expense for me.
(then again I don't go to Cons to buy things anyway. Just go to spend the day with friends, and have fun costuming. Pretty much just the photo/autograph, plus the cost of a soda from the machine, made for a very low-cost day. And it was a great day, an unforgettable experience! We all had a blast! That's why I'm so grateful. (and still kinda' all 'squee' )
