You let him off this way? That story about an ISO uninstaller? You think that an ISO would do that blasted work that programs do? I have heard more believable stories when a virus tries and talk his way out of being derezzed. When Stellar returns his light pad, he goes into another area in the SCC to start shopping his movies around.
(Sorry I kind of just assumed you would give the lightpad back in your next post, if you dont end up doing that, I'll edit this.) |

Illegal movies sales are just as illegal when there are no sentries around. *pours a pure energy drink, complete with clear umbrella and pixel cubes, for himself and Sorocks* But since I am a reasonable program I will let this slip by if you could offer something. *hands Sorocks the drink as he drinks his own*

Sorocks was just about to offer free admission to his theater down the street, when LIT showed up. He noticed this program was quick to direct him to the authorities, without realizing the opportunity cost of this endeavor. Lucky to be let off with a warning, he places his disk on his back and thanks LIT, before staring at the Castor-like program furiously.
He looks at LIT and begins to talk. "Sir, I apologize for this, you see... I used to maintain my theater and sell legitimate films, any income lost off of paying for video files was replenished via my girlfriend's job. She was an Uninstaller program, and made quite a bit of money from her work. We lived well. Enough to afford this here light pad, and we lived in one of the best houses money can buy. Everything was going well. The problem is, you see... my girlfriend is... I mean... WAS... an ISO. I... I really don't like to speak of it..." He says as a tear trails down his cheek... "The... the purge..." He starts trailing off. "There was nothing else I could do. I had to turn to illegal movies, or else my theater would have gone under and there would have been nothing less. At this point I had already lost my girlfriend, I couldn't afford to pay for my house... I couldn't lose the theater. I've only been illegally doing business so that I can make enough money to start on the right path, and move on from the tragedy."

*Zec (thats me) watches a mistake in progress as LIT lets the program off* (thinking to myself) He believes that answer? An ISO? And free admission when you are caught is a story as old as the grid. (thinking to myself ends) *sees the program glare at him, laughs to himself and grins*

[In "Tron: Evolution" one of the main areas is a huge ISO city called "Arjia".  It's freakin' beautiful. So are the ISOs to actually. I like to describe it as "digital Atlantis".]
