Just picked up a bunch of those series 2 target-exclusive battle scenes for $3.50 each.
I also snagged a Series-1 Sam Flynn disc for $9.00.
All I can find now is series 2 stuff

I've been watching for the diecasts to go on sale but the only place I've seen them on sale is at Target. It's been so long since the movie, I'm surprised they're not on clearance everywhere.

Got one of the light-cycle batons on clearance.
Yeah, I know they're kinda clunkier/bigger than the screen-accurate ones, but, got one anyway.
On the other side of the screen it all looks so easy.

Plenty of Series 2 and Series 3. I was surprised they even made Series 3 of the minis to start with.

I saw several Ultimate Sam w/katana at two different stores in the town where I grew up (was there this past week to move my mom). Surprising; first time I've ever seen the ones with the katanas anywhere. At both places they were still full-price, though...even though everything else was on sale at one of the stores.
I dunno how much longer I'll manage to hold out on not getting the diecasts, though! I guess if I know it's inevitable I should probably bite the bullet and do it while I can still get all the ones I want... the Flynn cycle, Clu's cycle, Sam's cycle, the light runner, the reco, and the lightjet... Target got a buttload of those little figure sets! Rows and rows of them, if you are looking for any of them get to Target now!
For my brother's birthday I just picked up a Recognizer case, a die cast Flynn Light Cycle, Jarvis, Tron T-Shirt.
For myself, a bunch of the lil Tron figure sets from Target. Never collected them before but for $2.48 you can't go too wrong. Now I want them all!
Are there any that are exceptionally rare? I would like to take them all out but if there are some that are more HTF than others I may leave those in.

Sam Flynn + Siren
Jarvis + Black Guard
Clu + Castor (Yeah I got a Castor figure of some sort now!)

I managed to get these (only one of each) at a Target only because they were stocked on a peg away from the rest of the Tron toys amidst the Ironman 2 stuff...

Tip of the day: always ask a Target associate in the toy department where the toy clearance AREAS are. I'm not just talking about endcaps. My Target had THREE areas...all in different sections of the store...of clearance toys. I found the motherload in the area that was farthest from the toy department beside the seasonal merchandise. Yeah, I was at Target tonight and saw at least a couple different areas where they had Tron toys on sale (lots of the 2-figure sets. First time I've really seen those in a store). Didn't see any diecasts, though. Although I didn't look real hard because I was with my mom and she was like, "why are we in the toy section?" I wasn't going to explain it to her.
