analysis of the lightjet chase finale

This scene essentially shpws what the main characters are about. Flynn shows that he is willing to sacrifice for his son and reveals that he still relishes the Games. Tell me that when he said "Yes!" at the shooting down one one of the enemies that you didn't sense that. I'll bet somewhere in T ,82 he says that when shooting down a space paranoid. He felt the victory of that moment. Quorroa continues her theme of being a warrior. The fact that the world was built on games is hearkened to when Clu admonishes Rinzler to "Take the shot! Finish the Game!!". It's all ultimately a game to Clu, though a deadly and serious one. Everyone's character thus seemed fully revealed and distilled in this battle. Even Rinzler finds some redemption. He didn't die, I think, but his change in conscience made his suit turn to an allied color as he sank. Or...did he continue to sink? abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

One more thing, though the lightjet chase is over by the time this happens....Flynn shows that he is a true zen master by, rather than at least verbally blasting Clu at the end, actually forgiving......*forgiving* the guy, and seeking to reconnect with him. How often do you hear on adversdary at the end of a two hour long movie tell his enemy at the finale "I'm sorry"? He showed the true depth of his fatherhood to Clu and Sam in his final actions.

And I think for a brief nanosecond, Clu was considering forgiving him. Then something in his eyes changes, and he knocks Flynn down. I thought this was a great scene, considering the facial expressions weren't real, per se.

One thing about the jet scene, Clu is no coward or absent general. When they attack Flynn's jet, he is front and center.

I was never sure if he really was, or if he was just pretending to so he could get close enough to Flynn and attack...

OK, well, since lightjets are not built like airplanes, would a dogfight even be possible? This query came up with the fight scenes in Star Wars (X-wings) and the old Battlestar Galactica (Vipers).

What has always bugged me was the part in the jet fight scene where Quorra pulls the jet up into a stall. Really? Lightjets inside a computer can STALL??? Come on.abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

user897returns Wrote:Being as the Grid has a ceiling, it is probably in the vehicle's code to stall when starting to get close, to maintain the Grid's integrity. Since the vehicles in the Grid are written more than they are manufactured like the real world, it is not outside the realm of possibility for the Jets to behave that way.

So the stall could be like a warning: you're going too high, get back down, you silly program.

Huh, pretty clever re-use of a quote from the original film if that was the intention.

Everyone's character thus seemed fully revealed and distilled in this battle. Even Rinzler finds some redemption.

Never expected Quorra to be an elephant.

He didn't die, I think, but his change in conscience made his suit turn to an allied color as he sank. Or...did he continue to sink?

There was something that puzzled me right before that. Order of events:

1) Clu and Tron falling
2) Clu and Tron fight
3) Clu KO's Tron and steals his lightjet
4) Cut to Flynn, talking to Quorra - "Quorra, there's something I'd like you to do.."
5) Cut to Tron, sinking
6) Tron's circuitry changes from red to blue

What is this "something" Flynn wanted Quorra to do? Based on the fact that we cut to Tron's circuitry changing colors immediately after Flynn says this, I assumed that Quorra was somehow able to do that. Is she able to use her mind to change programs' circuitry colors or something?abortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion
