I was really impressed by this effect since it was most likely done in some non-CG way, and I have to say it was well done. The cane is obviously plexiglass and clear, yet how did the effects guys get the cane so consistently and naturally lit up along it's length? You can't say there was a spotlight on it because you would have seen that. And I didn't suspect any placement of batteries or LEDs internally as a light source, though if they were moved to always be under Castor's hand as he switched his grip, maybe that would have worked. They would hav ehad to carefully co-ordinate this and have several different canes, one fo reach place he gripped the cane.

And just try and tell me you wouldn't want his grandstanding, bombastic, pompous ass hosting YOUR next party! I;d kill for him to attend.
