just wanted to share something i really liked reading
Here's a little bit of movie trivia for you, Joepsh Kosinski is now the highest-grossing first-time director of a live-action film in Hollywood history beating out J.J. Abrams' Mission Impossible III. Tron: Legacy made $399 million world wide taking out Abrams' $397.5 million for MI3. This is all before the DVD / blu-ray was released today. Tron: Legacy was made for aorund $165 million bucks so it made a decent profit in theaters, made a ton of money off merch, and will make even more with the Blu-ray release. Yes, Tron is a money maker. If you need further convincing... it made more money than Chris Nolan's Batman Begins ($373 million) and J.J. Abrams' Star Trek ($386 million). I didn't even realize how much money it made until I started seeing these comparisons.where to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

All signs point to a second (third?) film, but I don't think there's been an "official" announcement from Disney yet. It's pretty obvious that they'd hoped to fully franchise this property (Cillian Murphy's brief cameo was clearly a setup for the next installment) and it's made some decent money for the studio thus far, so indicators are good that we'll get another film. I echo that sentiment! Was just over at blu-ray.com : Tron: Legacy is THE top-selling BluRay, making 68% of BluRay sales, while the TRON BluRay is at #5. It's safe to say that TRON & Sam are DEREZZING the competition viciously, LOL!!! TR3N can't be far behind!!!!! I'm ready to travel to the new grid, merged with the ENCOM 5110!!!!!!! Tron fights for the USERS-of BluRay, LOL!!!!

Not just was the film a reboot of a bigger franchise, but it's also doing great,
so I've been wondering for quite a while now whats with the fuss about whether a third movie is finally greenlit or not...
My point is, we should be surprised if there won't be a third movie, not the other way around.
Seriously there was never anything against sequels, and everything for it from the start, including how parts of the film itself were done.
Official statement confrming it now or half a year later, does it matter?

Hopefully they're able to match if not exceed the quality of Legacy on the next film and we won't be subjected to the law of diminishing returns. In a way, Legacy is the Star Wars: A New Hope of this franchise, so the next film should set up some serious second act crisis stuff a'la Empire Strikes Back. Done right, this could be incredible. Done wrong, a tragedy.

Down south of here about 20 miles or so, there's a theater that replays movies that are about to come out on home video release for $3 a showing. My friend told me she went there hoping to see Tron Legacy, but the line wrapped all the way around the block. That seems like something worthy of note.
