Walmart Tron Legacy Movie Pack with green diecast lightcycle - QUESTION

on Friday, April, 08, 2011 8:55 PM
For those of you who bought the exclusive collector's 2-pack (Blu-ray, DVD) at Walmart that comes with the diecast green light cycle, I ordered mine online on Walmart's site and received the movie today, however the light cycle I received is not green as is pictured on the box... mine looks turquoise blue. Did any of you receive the same color or is yours the same green as pictured on the box and on the Walmart site?

I'm going to stop by Walmart tomorrow and see if the ones there have the green cycle or not... I seriously hate false advertising.

Navin...First off, good to hear from you again. I guess things went well with your last proceedure (I'm hoping). Second. I was in Walmart the day of the release with my Godfather and got to look at the package with the lightcycle. Its kinda a teal-ish milky bluish green color. That is my best description of it.

"mint cream" is a good way to describe it. WheatKing had said it was bluer than what the picture advertising it showed. I'd say it's paler, too. No worries, though. You got what everyone else got abortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion

Just chiming in that I got my Walmart set today too. The color is one I am intimately familiar with, it's definitely a green bordering on teal. Some people have a hard time telling if teal is blue or green so I'm sure this shade appears a little differently to everyone. I remember when the Charlotte Hornets first came to town the big talk was what color were their uniforms, were they blue or green? Neither, they were teal. This shade is definitely greener than the pure teal that the Hornets wore (they wear an even bluer shade now in New Orleans than they wore in Charlotte) but it's not a forest green by any stretch.

I wouldn't be surprised to find out there were 'variants' along the lines of orange and yellow Clu with this cycle. I might go to Walmart and see for myself if they are all the same color side by side.

The main problem with this set is that it's $25+ and the blu/dvd thing is only going to net around $10 after shipping on Amazon. Pretty expensive diecast since I already had (two) copies of the movie.where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online

Thanks bro! It's great to be back here. Surgery was a success and my heart is beating normally after having had a section of my heart "burned" to stop the electrical looping impulse that was causing the super fast 280bpm heart beat.

Thanks for the info!

The Cycle is definitely more of a "mint cream" than the one pictured on the package. But in the toy's defense, it DOES look more accurate to the green Cycles in the film.

Thanks for the scans, my friend! This site is seriously awesome! I agree with you that the cycle is more accurate for sure. Like I said, I get annoyed with false advertising and having something pictured both online and on the packaging that's different than the color of the actual product, lol.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

LOL... I too immediately thought of the Charlotte Hornets old uniform color when I first saw this teal green light cycle.

Glad to see others bought this same 2 disc set with the diecast cycle... I figured the majority would get the 5 disc set with the identity disc packaging. I chose not to get the 5 disc set because it came with too many things I didn't need (don't have blu-ray nor 3-D blu-ray and I don't need a digital version and I already have the 20th anniversary DVD special edition original Tron movie), plus that identity disc packaging seems so bulky.

Thank you all for the replies!

OMG... just watched Tron Legacy on my new DVD... what a wonderful movie!! There were a number of parts during the movie I had forgotten... probably because I was still a bit groggy since I had gone straight from the hospital where I had my heart surgery to the movie theater.

I really like Rinzler's costume and accessories... I wish SpinMaster had made Rinzler's light cycle... I think it was more red than Clu's yellow/orange cycle.

Yeah Rinzler's cycle was pretty sweet. Someone here did a red custom 4" with a Clu bike I think. I want to do a Rinzler bike and a Rinzler 1 Man Jet.

Also, Spin Master put out a 'Rinzler Cycle' but it was only available in the S3 2" sets. Looks pretty cool but I definitely wish they had come out with a 4" scale one. ,

Cool... I didn't realize they came out with one in the S3 2" set. So is that Rinzler cycle basically the same size as the Walmart light cycle that comes in the Tron Legacy Movie Pack?

I haven't opened mine but doing a quick comparison with the Clu bike in the S1 2" they are basically the same size as the diecast versions.

Here's the pic from the Kingplayer.de website

And here's the link if you want to buy one. As far as I know, no one has found any of the S3 2" stuff in stores in the US, and Wheat King said he was surprised any got out at all. So there may not be any more out there.
