Strolled into a Target this afternoon and swooped up the two-disc Blu releases of Tron and Tron Legacy for a cool 19.99 each... twas a wonderful thing. Rezzing up to watch the original with the Missus this evening. Life is good!

I'm in the same boat, but mine is estimated to be delivered on the 12th! And i preordered the thing back in February! The cost was like $64.99, apparently with that price guarantee thing. But I could have sworn that I saw it cheaper than that at some point, maybe like 45 bucks or something? But I can't be sure. Oh well, I'm just playing the waiting game now.

It's no biggie anyway, right now I only have a 19 inch tube TV with an old DVD player attached to it. LOL! I'm still saving up for the 73 inch beast, the 3D bluray player, and the 7.1 surround sound system. I'm right there with ya, Kia. To me, there was nothing wrong with the original cover. It was beautiful! Plus, IMO, the original cover art is a perfect complement to the TRON: Legacy cover art which is an updated homage to the original cover anyway! It's an iconic image that Disney missed a huge opportunity to capitalize on. But oh well, what do we know...we're just fans. LOL!

I wonder if Tron loses it's "cult" status now. Likely yes, I'm glad I was part of it, no matter how short it was.

Looking forward to the blu-rays. I pre-ordered the day the release dates were set and they were shipping them on the 14th.

I'm asking because the PSN store has HD versions of Tron and Tron: Legacy for $20 bucks a piece.

Also My PS3 is transmitting at 720p right now, the reason being that 720p is (apparently) better than 1080i, which is the highest my set goes up to.

So as my set is in 720p does it matter in which format I get my movies in?
